In August 2020 I was in York with my fiancé, Dominic. As we walked past the Minster, and along the cobblestones of Petergate, we came across a street artist who was drawing caricatures.
Knowing that I’ve wanted to get a caricature since I was a little girl, Dominic paid for us to have one together. The artist did a fantastic job – the resemblance was uncanny. And I loved how Dominic did something he knew would make me happy. I was so happy I actually cried.
I’m going to frame the picture and put it up in our own home, when we move in.
